Dr. Vladimir Milivojević is professionally focused on all aspects of clinical gastroenterology and hepatology. His particular areas of interest include Helicobacter pylori infection, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, dyspepsia, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), disorders of the gut microbiota (dysbiosis), and the treatment of patients with abnormal liver function tests (elevated transaminases), metabolic syndrome, and impaired liver function, as well as the role of nutrition in gastroenterology. A field of special interest to Dr. Milivojević is gastrointestinal endoscopy. In addition to diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, Dr. Milivojević also performs interventional and therapeutic procedures, including the removal of polyps from the stomach, duodenum, and colon, as well as advanced ERCP procedures for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
