Vlad Stoian is Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His research focuses on microbial communities in soils, their reaction to different technological inputs and patterns of activity dynamics. Another contribution was to improve the extraction of parameters for mycorrhizal colonization through the application of a pattern comparison methodology.
