Biography

Natasha Griffith is the CEO of SOTER Bio Consulting LLC, leading national and international initiatives that strengthen health emergency response and high‑risk laboratory operations. She holds a Master of Science in Microbial Pathogenesis and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, as well as a Master of Public Health from Paris. With more than 20 years of experience, Natasha has directed numerous global missions responding to infectious disease outbreaks and advancing biosafety and biosecurity systems. Her career includes serving as Associate Director of the High Containment Core at Georgia State University, overseeing safe O&M of BSL3, ABSL3, and BSL4 facilities. Previously, as Branch Chief of Quality and Safety Systems at the CDC, she led development of national laboratory standards and managed international outbreak-response programs in English and French. Earlier, she established UCLA’s Tier 1 Select Agent program and served over a decade as Responsible Official for all select agent research.
