Prof. dr Milica Mirković is Associate professor at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. She has more than 15 years of theoretical and practical expertise in the food microbiology, identification of lactic acid bacteria from farmhouse made products, as well as examination of their potential probiotic properties. Furthermore, Milica Mirković has experience in examination of different microencapsulation techniques of probiotic bacteria (spray-drying and liophilization) and application of encapsulated potential probiotic bacteria in different food products. She is competent in the field of microbiological quality of different food products. She is the author of more than 80 publications in domestic and international journals and conferences.
