Dr. Marija Ivanov is a researcher in the field of molecular biology, mycology, natural products and biological activity. Marija was visiting researcher at the Institute of Microbiology, University and University Hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland, Institute for Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, National Hellenic Research foundation, Laboratory for Biomolecular Structures, National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Laboratory for Phytomedicine, Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany. She is the principal investigator of a bilateral project with Austria and a project of the Center for the Promotion of Science She is the recipient of various scholarships including FEMS-GO for research stay and Loreal-Unesco for women in science. Marija is on Stanford’s list of the most cited scientists.
