Biography
Giuliano Degrassi has five years’ experience in R&D and production of biological insecticides and thirty years as Staff Scientist and Group Leader of Industrial Biotechnology for ICGEB, the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. His main research projects are plant associated bacteria, regulation of virulence gene expression by quorum sensing, plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria, microbial inoculants and improvement of biogas production in anaerobic digestors. For the last two years Giuliano has been Scientific Consultant of Anval International, developing innovative products for control of fungal diseases in grapevine.
