Aleksandra Knežević is a full professor of microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia; Specialist of microbiology with parasitology, subspecialist of virology; Long-term experience in clinical virology and diagnostics of viral diseases; Her research areas of interest are persistent viral infections, oncogenic viruses, viral genetic variability and virus-host interaction.
