Miloš Jovićević

Milos Jovicevic, MD, is a Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. His primary research interests include healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial resistance, molecular and genomic characterization of clinically significant bacteria, and biofilm-associated pathogenicity. He is an active member of the National Reference Laboratory for Streptococci, where he contributes to national surveillance programs focused on antimicrobial susceptibility testing and the molecular epidemiology of streptococcal infections in Serbia. M. Jovicevic has participated in several scientific projects addressing multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens, with particular emphasis on clinically relevant resistance mechanisms and their dissemination. In addition to his research activities, he has mentored several student research projects, actively contributing to the development of young investigators in the field of microbiology. He also serves as a member of the Editorial Office of the journal Microbiology.
